How to Filter Spam on the Server.

If you use POP3, we recommend setting a filter on your e-mail client
to filter messages with a subject beginning with ***SPAM***.  If you
primarily read mail using IMAP or Webmail, you probably will want to
filter spam on the server instead.

These instructions walk you through filtering spam messages to a
folder called Junk on our server.  You should subscribe to the Junk
folder and check it occasionally using IMAP or Webmail.  There is no
way to access the Junk folder with POP3, although you may access your
INBOX with POP3 (minus the spam).

1. Log in to Webmail by visiting home.nas.com/webmail
   Enter your username and password (youraccount@nas.com)
2. The following page will appear. Click the Email Filtering button.
   
3. When the page loads, click the Create New Filter button:
   
4. Enter the following in the boxes outlined in red (note: they will not be red on the page. The outlines are just for reference)
   Filter Name: junk
   Rules
   Subject
   begins with
   ***SPAM***
   Actions
   Deliver to folder
   Click the Change button
   Junk (field fills in as /.Junk - this is correct)
   The press the Activate button
   
5. To subscribe, click the Home button in the upper left corner:
   
   
6. Click 'Read Mail using SquirrelMail'
   
7. Click 'Folders'
   
8. Under Unsubscribe/Subscribe, click on 'junk' to highlight it, then click the 'Subscribe' button
   
9. Refresh the page (press F5, or hit the Refresh/Reload button in your browser) to update the folder list in the left sidebar. You should now see Junk below the other folders.
